Home network with HP printer direct connected to wireless router. After a day
or so, Vista (home) will lose the printer drivers for the printer. Reinstall of printer done from HP disks for Vista. Printer assigned a static IP address 192.168.1.3, laptops running vista assigned IP via DHCP. |

I have contacted HP and received a patch for this problem. I used the on-line help function and the person sent me the link to the file. I didn't save the link but the file name is: CIT223969-HPCOM-Baloo32-v4.exe. I can't guarentee the problem is fixed since the printer goes away after a few days so I'll just have to see. But the tech support person seemed positive that this was the fix. -- rockymount1 |
