I want to save 2 pictures as desktop items to use a background. In vista
when right clicking on a picture now I only have the option to set as background where as in XP there was the option to set as desktop item. Is there a way to set pictures as desktop items like was on XP? thx |

I'm not sure by what you mean by "desktop item"...
If you are referring to Active Desktop, it's not available in Vista. "mark" wrote in message ... I want to save 2 pictures as desktop items to use a background. Right-click on the Desktop, select Personalize. Desktop Background.
If you are referring to Active Desktop, that was removed for security reasons (AFAIK). -- Vista Home Premium 32 SP1 http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "mick coleman" wrote in message ... been looking for days no luck what was vista thinking removing it -- mick coleman Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
