Default how to save a picture as desktop item

I want to save 2 pictures as desktop items to use a background. In vista
when right clicking on a picture now I only have the option to set as
background where as in XP there was the option to set as desktop item. Is
there a way to set pictures as desktop items like was on XP?

thx

I'm not sure by what you mean by "desktop item"...
If you are referring to Active Desktop, it's not available in Vista.

Right-click on the Desktop, select Personalize. Desktop Background.
If you are referring to Active Desktop, that was removed for security
reasons (AFAIK).
