Default finding files modified between dates

Thanks Dave for the tutorial link. The old search engine in XP pro was so
much easier to use and rean so much faster than the new Vista / Win7 search
funtion.

And geeze - how many more clincks and letters/numbres that need inputting
for a simple "Find files between March 1 and March 5". When will upgrades
make it easier and not harder to do things. If I wanted extra steps I would
have bought a MAC and it's single button mouse.

I'm a XP Pro user that just converted to Vista. I'm having trouble finding
all files on C:\ that were modified between certain dates. XP had a very
easy search function but Vista is a bit more obtuse. Can someone please
tell
me how to find files created or modified between specific dates or before
or
after specific dates?

I'm at my wits end -
