This might have been posted already, but there's 68 pages so forgive the fact
I didn't want to go through them. The WLAN feature in Vista scans for new networks every 60 seconds usually taking 2-3 seconds to do. When surfing the internet there is no problem, I don't even know it's happening, but I am a gamer, and when WLAN scans for a new network I get a 2-3 second lag in-game. I've read many things about the Vista Anti-Lag(VAL) and WLAN Optimizer, but they don't work for me. So, my question is: Is there a way to turn the scans off, and how would I go about doing that? or, I heard there was a way to change the scanning increments, I wouldn't mind it happening every hour, how would I do that? Thank you anyone with help. |
