I am running vista on a homebuilt computer. I have verizon dsl with their
westell router. When I try to connect to the router wireless it is only local. My laptop can connect to it no problem, so I know the problem is not with the router. I can also connect to my neighbors verizon router no problem, so i am at a total loss as to why i cannot connect to mine. I am using a netgear wireless adapter card. When i use vista (as opposed to netgear software), to try and connect it say connection was cancelled due to "timeout or user action" any help would be appreciated. |
