SBS 2003 R2 fax client with Vista
We recently added our first two Vista computers to our office network. I do
not seem to be able to get the fax client from the SBS 2003 R2 server to load. Initially when the fax client did not appear, I assumed we had failed to check the "fax client" box when we added the machines to the network. I went back to the server, added the client, the server said to log the client computer off / on to load it. Nothing detectable happened on the client machine, the client did not load. I've tried adding it as a printer but when you try to use it Vista says that you must have an account to use it and that it's going to use it's own fax server (every time). The faxes do go, but you do not get the opportunity to use the cover pages from the server and get an e-mailed confirmation that the fax succeeded or failed like you do when the client works. |
