Thanks, Justin. But why should there "always be that additional Administrator account"? Looking at Control Panel User Accounts, I see that there are 3 accounts -- Owner (Administrator), Lindsay Graham (Administrator) and Guest (Guest account is off). The first is the one I want to keep, so I propose to delete the other 2 (after moving the files that I want to keep) and then rename Owner to Lindsay Graham. Can you see any problems in doing that? When your Windows is first installed (whether done by yourself, or at the "factory") there is an account created and it's called the Administrator account. That one is hidden, and is the account I am referring to. In your case, you are just fine deleting the Lindsay Graham account and renaming Owner to Lindsay Graham. The guest account can not (to my knowledge) be deleted, but just keep it disabled like you have it now, and you'll never encounter it in your normal routing. I hope that helps! |
