Default Printing on Local Printer

Just upgraded to Vista; connected to a remote computer and wanting to print
on my local printer from a file on the remote computer. The USB connected
printer does not show up in the list of available printers when attempting to
print. In the remote Desktop Connection window, under Local devices and
resources, I have checked Printers, Clipboard and other devices that I plug
in later. Fax and Adobe printers show up in the list. Any suggestions?
