Installed DVD-rom & my CD-rom disappeared
I bought a computer that came preinstalled with a cd driver but has the extra
port. I purchased a DVD Driver and installed it, and it works just great. The only problem is the DVD Rom took the letter assigned to my cd driver and i can no longer access my cd drive. All I did was plugged the new Driver in, the wires were preinstalled. Any suggestions how to get my CD driver back up? |

Ensure that the units are NOT jumpered the same. If they are on the same
cable, one should be set to master and the other to slave.. -- Mike Hall - MVP http://msmvps.com/blogs/mikehall/default.aspx "MizNic" wrote in message ... Installed DVD-rom & my CD-rom disappeared
My CD-Rom disappeared too and I don't know so much about computers so I've got this little program from 'CD-ROM and DVD-RW disappeared from Windows' (http://cdromdisappeared.com) With one click it made my CD-Rom re-appear.
