Default "Missing Drives"

Hi, every so often, when I am in Win Explorer or My Computer
(sorry...Computer), I notice one or other of my Drives 'missing". I have the
following:

A Drive (which though enabled and working properly according to Device
Manager will NOT read a floppy)
C Drive
D Drive
E Drive (CD Burner) and
F Drive (DVD Burner) along with an external USB
G Drive

and, as I say, I sometimes look and the E Drive won't be listed, or the F
Drive. Yet I close Explorer down and reopen it, and there it is, back
again...It happens when I have the external drive plugged in or when I
dont...it seems completely random.

....any thoughts on this?

Hi!

I just found a fix for this issue, and it does work. I just had my D
drive missing, and am now successfully watching Afro Samurai.

Here it is: 'Restore CD/DVD Drives to Explorer'
