What is the extension the program that will not be deleted?

It has been years since I worked with dBase, but the dBase program had
an extension of *.prg. They would not be installed in the windows
sense. They would just be available to the runtime dBase runtime engine
or to the dBase system.

If so then it could be deleted, and have no effect on the OS.

The runtime engine I finally got rid of, although it took a couple of
tries before it went past a 64 bit windows message.
