hello. When I start my laptop I expect that the icon off the battery is in
the system tray. But most of the times it isn't. So I can't see how much power my battery has left. When I go to: properties system tray (systemicons), there I can click on: clock - volume - network an energy. But most of the time I can't click on them. It's really odd. Can anybody help me with that? |

Right click on the Start button, click "Properties". Where it says
"Notification icon", click that tab. On the right click "customize" and there should be a list of icons with a button at the bottom that says "restore defaults". Click that that and save the changes. Now the power checkbox should work! Hope that helps. ~ |

Right now the checkbox for Power is grayed out while everything else is
checked and fine. I tried unchecking and checking the hide inactive icons and also went into customize and restored everything to the default setting. I also restarted the computer but it's still grayed out. Can you help me out? " wrote: Right click on the Start button, click "Properties". Where it says "Notification icon", click that tab.
