Ok, I've set up a wireless network. i've followed everything exactly. The
only problem is that when I'm using the wireless, anything I download, stops and times out, anything I play on Youtube only loads partially and will not go any further. When I plug the modem directly into my laptop, it does everything normally, Finishes all downloads and all. Anyone know what could be doing this? |

WiFi is not a totally reliable medium, compared to Ethernet. I'd start by making sure that the latest WiFi adapter drivers, and router firmware, is loaded. http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/08/driver-updates-from-microsoft-please.html http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...ft-please.html And check your WiFi neighbourhood. http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/06/analyse-your-wifi-environment.html http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/0...vironment.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP 2005-2007 [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
