hey since ive gotten my new vista computer i have noticed that whenever i download something it will always hang at a random point and never start back up again. is there a solution to this problem? thanks -- Static |

well first i tried Firefox and then randomly at any point of the download it will just hang, after that i tried IE and it would just show a time out message. and also if i use a download manager will it fix the problem? this problem is also more common when im downloading more bigger files like game patches -- Static |

It is common if you download a big file(s) through browser downloader and
failed. This problem is occured especially if you use slow internet connection (like dial up). That's why download manager exist, it can "trace and memorize" your download so it can resume whenever your download interrupted. My tips: do not download on peak hour (eg. noon or evening) and use download manager like FlashGet. Also, stop any browsing because both activities at the same time may cause your internet become too slow. Cheers. |

You could try: right-click on your network connection properties untick
