Default Blue buttons next to power button on HP dv2000

I am having a problem with what I mentioned above. These buttons are not
functioning. When I press them nothing happens. Please help. Thank you.

Default Blue buttons next to power button on HP dv2000

Hi,

Run msconfig from the start/search line. On the startup tab, make sure that
HP QuickPlay is checked (enabled).

You may need this update...

if you upgraded from Windows XP on your laptop to Windows Vista.

If the link doesn't work try searching HP's web site for
"HP QuickPlay Web Update", or something similar.
