I want to say I followed your instructions and this was very easy to
understand.
I thank you so much for this helpful nformation and would recommend this to
anyone that has this same problem with Task Manager. Thanks "brink"!

First get rid of the maleware. Sounds like same problem I had with a
rouge downloader called alpha antivirus. Then set up a new
administrator account and afterwards delete the old one. Task manager
should then come right up with cntrl+alt+delete.
