Open the folder, click "Organize".

Go to, "Layout".

Click, "Preview Pane".

Hi James,

Yes, you should be able to. Click on "Organize" - "Layout" -
"Preview Pane" inside a Windows Explorer window.

Well the reason I post this question was because I can not find preview pane
under layout. I only see menu bar, search pane and navigation pane

Ah, ok James,

Open Folder Options and make sure that "Show preview handlers in
preview pane" is checked. You should have Preview Pane available in
Layout afterwards.

Oh nevermind, I found it. I just had to check "show preview and filters" in
folder options. Thanks for your help.

Ok James,

See Method Two in this tutorial to enable the Preview Pane option.
