Default socket connection

anybody have scottrade account and the streaming quotes program did not
work,it work on xp but not on vista,the program is about the socket
connection scottrade recommend ,anybody can help to fix.scottrade program
offer the java base program.

You need to contact the ScottTrade people since it is their software
that doesn't work on Vista. A similar thing happened when XP came out (I
have clients using ScottTrade) and the fix was for ScottTrade to update
their software.

In the meantime, since you reference Java, make sure you have the latest
version. Uninstall older versions first.
