Default Access point connection from IE7

I cannot connect to my dlink Access point with Vista's IE7 but I can connect
to my dlink router. I downloaded firefox and I can successfully connect to
the AP. IE says "the webpage cannot be found...."

You may want to add the AP to the security zone. Please post back with the
result.

I purchased a new dell with IE 7 and cannot connect to the internet . I am
using a netgear wireless adapter and dell has recommended that I use firefox
and it works fine. I was hoping the IE 7 would be updated soon with a fix for
this. Any idea when? Thanks,

I purchased a new dell and I am using a netgear wireless adapter. When
attempting to open IE 7 it stated that the webpage cannot be found. I had to
load firefox and then was successful. Is there a date that IE7 for WINDOWS
Vista home edition will be fixed? Thank You

I don't quite understand what you mean by security zone but if you mean the
trustez zones in IE, I have done that. It doesn't help. The error is HTTP
400 Bad request - the page cannot be found.

FOUND IT. It was MS Silverlight. I found some threads with similar
behaviour. I uninstalled and everything is back to normal.
