Default setting up my computer as VPN "server"

I'm trying to permit someone to connect into one of my two computers. They
are connected to a D-Link Router. I set up an Incoming Connection and gave
that User permissions, after setting them up as a User on the computer. Not
sure now what IP Address and ports to give them to put in when they set up a
VPN Connection. I keep getting what looks like an internal IP address,
possible because I use a HughesNet dish for high speed internet access (my
only option). Can anyone help? Thank you!

Assuming this is VPN pass through VPN router, you need open port TCP 1723 on
the router forwarding to the VPN server. When access it, use the public IP
address. Or this search result may help.

VPN SetupFirewall Ports. When you place a VPN server behind your firewall,
..... A: PPTP VPN uses TCP Port 1723, IP Protocol 47 (GRE); L2TP: UDP Port
1701; ...
