Does any body else have a problem transferring files to/from a

It never happened between wireless Vista and cable-connected Win2K --
only if both systems are Vista, and there are multiple, embedded .zip
files. It seems as though Vista just can't handle the
unzipping/zipping without timing out somewhere.

Has anyone else seen this, and has anyone found a solution?

It may be UAC issue. This post may help. Please post back with the result.

Thanks for the reply. I have UAC turned off (one of the first things
I did when migrating to Vista), so the problem presumably lies
elsewhere. The only files I have seen the problem with have been .zip
files that Vista tries to treat as folders, and then possibly only
when these "folders" contain further .zip files.

Is there any way to shut off Vista's special treatment of .zip files,
and let users go back to something simple that works, like WinZip?
