Or is there another solution? Thanks. FTP is pretty insecure. You might consider running a SSH server on a home PC and using a free SFTP client like WinSCP as an alternative. http://theillustratednetwork.mvps.or...cureShell.html Another alternative is to setup a Windows Home Server (WHS) using an old spare PC or purchasing a new WHS. Personally I do the former, ie. use an old spare PC as my WHS. I have a secure SSL connection into my WHS from remote sites for file access. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro...r/default.mspx Lastly another free SSL VPN solution like SSL-Explorer may be a good option. http://www.sshtools.com/showSslExplorerCommunity.do -- Al Jarvi (MS-MVP Windows Networking) Please post *ALL* questions and replies to the news group for the mutual benefit of all of us...
