Default network printer connection problem

I have a wireless home network and my printer is connected directly to a
network computer running XP. I have a laptop with Vista and am trying to set
up a network connection to the printer. I have set up everything as has
been posted here - and the laptop sees all the workgroup computers correctly.
When I run "add a printer" on the laptop, it sees the network printer but it
won't connect to it. When I select the printer, I get a message - "windows
can't connect to printer. Access denied."
I have a hp psc 1350 printer and it works fine on all the other network
computers - they all run on xp except the new laptop.

You may want to setup the printer using local port first and then re-map to
the XP. This search result may help.
