XP Home edition worked fine. New Toshiba A215 with Vista Home Premium-
nothing but problems with wireless internet connection. Linksys and Belkin routers tried with a cable modem. system finds network and connects without any problem only to drop the connection continuously, sometimes only a few minutes apart. I've read and heard several things about people "downgrading" back to XP. Is Vista really that SHABY a operating system? Cable company and router companies support people have walked me through everything and each of them advised me that my problem was with the operating system and I needed to contact Microsoft. Any help would be appreciated. Of all the years I've owned a computer and as many computers as I have owned, I've never regreted anything as much as Vista- just want to throw it at the wall. |
