Disable mouse pointer trails in Control Panel (Classic View) Mouse.

Contacting HP tech support they blame the pointing device for the
missing mouse pointer. Then they suggested updating the Media Center but
when I went to try that I got "error messages" about the download wasn't
the right one - no matter which one I tried 32 or 64 vista home premium.

Geesh who wants to make a career out of mouse weirdness. Fiddling with
the pointer settings doesn't seem to make any dif for me.

Hey that's weird, disabling the mouse trails from the control panel
works but doing it directly from the pointing device doesn't thanks CB
