Default Fingerprint reader/Vista 64

I purchased reader a month ago anticipating use on my new computer that just
arrived. Then I find it will not work with Vista 64. I got spoiled with it
on XP.

Does anyone know when software will be available for Vista 64?

If not does anyone know of a good fingerprint reader that is compatable with
Vista 64?

Only the manufacturer knows that. You didn't even tell us the brand and
model of the reader.

Thanks for your reply. Brand is Microsoft. And only implied indication of
compatabilty with Vista 64 by fact offered with my computer (HP) which has
Vista 64 installed. Have now gone to Digital Persona site. They make reader
for Microsoft. It appears they have Vista 64 software for their version that
is obtainable seperately. - I hope. I'll check tomorrow.

Hi, iīve experienced an issue with the MS fingerprint reader. I have
vista ultimate x86 installed on my computer and the fingerprint and itīs
software (digitalpersona) work fine. However, after a couple of hours
with the computer turned on the fingerprint stops working. It remains
lit, but doesnīt give any sign of life after pressed. The problem only
stops after i unplug and than plug again the fingerprint in the usb
port. Does anyone know how to solve the problem ????

Thanks very much for your help.

Are you using a laptop? Try connecting without the hub.
