wireless networking problem on laptop

Default wireless networking problem on laptop

i just got a dell 1530 with a intel 495n wireless card and the notebook has
bluetooth as well..it has vista home premium..i setup the internet using wpa
and the key code..it takes anywhere from 2-3 mins to find and connect to the
internet..it goes from a red x to a yellow then the blue connection..i have
gone through msconfig and remonved programs i didn't need running..i have
read other websites statinf similar issues..can anyone help on this

You can also stop programs like your AV and Defender looking for updates
and/or running a scan.

Check your event log and see if something is going on.
