I'm having the same issue. I plug in my ipod or a thumb drive and windows media player comes up with an error message that it has stopped working. I tried to reinstall the media player, which is a huge ordeal, but I finally reinstalled it, however, it did not work still crashes when I plug something in. I also tried to create a new user account and that didn't work either. I'm just mentioning somethings that you might want to try, but didn't work out for me. if you've found a solution please share it. |

How did you "reinstall" the player? That sounds dangerous to me. What's the fault data for that crash you're running into now according to the Problem Reports and Solutions center: http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#bucket ? -- Speaking for myself only.
