Adjusting Mouse scroll speed
Having an issue with adjusting the scroll speed on my Microsoft Laser Mouse
5000 on a vista laptop. When i do this by going to - Control Panel - Mouse Properties and then adjust the vertical scroll speed to fastest, i click apply and then OK to close the window. However, the scroll speed immediately reverts back to slowest, a fact made clear by both the actual slow scroll speed and by reopeing to mouse properties, the scrolling bar is set to the slowest. I was wondering if there is a simple solution to this problem which i may have overlooked. Thank you |

Adjusting Mouse scroll speed
I just got a MS Laser 8000 today and have this exact problem. Running Intellimouse v6.3, what is the secret to getting scroll speed to stick??? Even doing a reg hack HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WheelScrollLines reverts back to 2 after log off/on. -- hammerdown |

Adjusting Mouse scroll speed
Intellimouse scroll speed is locked/overridden by laptop Alps TouchPad scroll speed setting, even though I completely disabled the touchpad. Solution is to change scroll speed in the Touchpad settings. -- hammerdown |
