Recover a deleted folder
I deleted an important folder from my desktop by mistake. I tried to recover
it from the recycle bin but the folder was not there. Cant locate the folder with the search options...guess coz i deleted it in the 1st place. I need to recover the deleted file.

If you have Vista Business or Ultimate, you can retrieve the deleted folder by using the "Restore Previous Versions" feature. Look in Vista's Help for instructions. If you have Vista Home Basic/Premium, this feature isn't available to you and you'll need to use data retrieval software. Stop using the computer immediately since using it will greatly decrease the possibility of data recovery. Probably not gonna happen unless you get lucky doing a backstep to a point before you deleted the file
