Hello,
After I my computer wakes from hybrid sleep, it take a few minutes for my wireless card to reconnect to my router. I have a desktop with a Linksys WMP54g, a Linksys WRT54g router, and Vista Ultimate. I have the latest drivers from Linksys and Windows Update. Sometimes the reconnect is faster, sometimes slower, but it seems to take at least 2 minutes before the computer reconnects. I have a Thinkpad that I also use with the router that reconnects instantly after waking that uses Vista Business so the problems is not with the router. Has anyone else had this issue? I've tried changing the "Allow the computer to turn off this device.." setting to on and off in the device manager, but it doesn't change anything. It's kind of a nuisance have to wait so long for a re-connect. |
