Hello,
I've been disappointed with the offline file feature (read access are slow because it checks the server for newer version, write access are slower because they go to the server directly, there are some bugs...). I'm switching to a simpler model (I'm using PowerFolder to keep some files on my hard drive in sync, and so far it's working great for me). I want to stop using Offline Files and I can't figure out how to do that. I opened the offline files folder, right clicked on the computer that has offline folders and selected "Delete Offline Copy", but it didn't seem to do anything. I did the same thing with an individual file, and it didn't seem to do anything either (the file was still there) Any help appreciated Vincent |

You can re-initialize the offline files cache. See
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942974/en-us for more details. --- Jeffrey Randow Windows Networking MVP 2001-2006 http://www.networkblog.net On Tue, 08 Jan 2008 06:16:53 -0800, Vincent Lascaux wrote: Hello, I've been disappointed with the offline file feature (read access are slow because it checks the server for newer version, write access are slower because they go to the server directly, there are some bugs...).
