Default HardDisk Partition Error

A quick Google gets you to this site:
http://forums.techguy.org/all-other-...magic-8-a.html

All have the same problem as you are experiencing. Partition Magic 8 doesn't
run on Vista very well so that may be the reason. The main consensus is to
use CHKDSK to solve the problem. In order to do that, do the following:

1/ Click the Start button
2/ In the Search box type 'cmd' (without the quotes)
3/ When the 'cmd' file appears at the top of the start menu, Right click it
and, from the drop down menu, click on the 'run as administrator' option.
4/ When the command prompt window opens type: 'chkdsk /f' (again without the
quotes) and then press Enter
5 You will see a message which says, 'Chkdsk cannot run because the volume
is in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? Y/N' Type 'Y' and then press
Enter
6/ Now restart your pc to allow chkdsk to start.
