Default Contact plane

Hi all,
How do I get the "contact plane"(with my contacts and email addresses) to
show under the local folders? I can't seem to find the settings to make
this happen!
Thanks,
Alice

Default Contact plane

Hi, Alice.

Well, first, it's Contact PANE, as in a window pane, not PLANE as in
airplane.

Second, I can't find a way to display it, either. It used to be in View |
Layout, but I don't see it there in Windows Mail in the Vista beta build
5536. I seem to recall that there was some discussion a few months ago that
the Contacts Pane has been eliminated from Windows Mail - and that seems to
be the case. The Help file doesn't seem to Help with this question, either.

We can still click the Contacts button on the Toolbar, of course, but that
is not as convenient for some users as having the pane open all the time. I
never used that pane so I don't miss it, but many users do.

Its been removed from Windows Mail. You have to open up a separate Contacts
window now in Vista.
