Hello,
I am receiving the same error message when opening up a MS Word document. I do use Windows Mail or OE - any suggestions? Thank you. "Steve Cochran" wrote: Just make a directory anywhere that gives you permission to do so. Then move all the files under the Windows Mail directory to that directory. Then try restarting WinMail and see if it will run okay. If you had messages before, they will be in the directory to which you moved the files under directories named for the folders. You can then drag those eml files back into WinMail or OE. steve "Cat" wrote in message ... Where do I move the files to from the default mail location? I have the same problems . Cannot open Windows mail and the same error messages and this started after I tried to install Office 2007. "Steve Cochran" wrote: They have decided that they will continue the only 2 error messages OE produces in WinMail. Neither is accurate, but those are the catchalls when WinMail or OE can't start. The problem is most likely the message store in those instances (permissions issues or corruption). You can move all the files out of the default location (%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\) and they WinMail should start okay. You can then drag the eml files from the moved directory to WinMail folders to reincorporate them. steve "keuboard-turkei" wrote in message ... it is exactly my problem. The error messages are : 1) windows mail could not be started. The application was unable to create the Internet Account Manager.Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Contact support for further assistance. ( 0xC00CE558 ) 2)Windows Mail could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be initialized.Windows Mail may not be installed correctly. how can i solve this problem ? * i should say that the first message is not suitable for my computer .................................................. ...............................................
