Yet another Windows Mail problem.
First, a caveat. I had to kill Windows Mail because it was in an infinite loop as documented elsewhere. Now when i fire it up I get a bunch of completely empty (0 size, nothing displayed in the properties window) messages. Regards, Al Christoph |

I had exactly the same problem. Complete loss of in box and sent items.
Contacts are the only thing that has been left intact. "Al" wrote: Yet another Windows Mail problem. First, a caveat. I noticed this also, happens completely at random, sometimes empty messages
appear, sometimes they don't, wierd. It also hang's when it first starts occasionaly, which never happened for me in previous builds. "Al" wrote: Yet another Windows Mail problem. First, a caveat. I have managed to recover all 'lost' mail, by using the new vista feature :
Explore to C:\Users\Your User Account\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail Where 'Your User Account' - is your sign on name. Right Click the Windows Mail folder select Properties & Previous versions. To my surprise there was a previous version which when restored brought all mail & sent items back. Hurahh ! "Catweazle" wrote: I also get empty emails occasionally. "Al" wrote in message ...
