MSN has slowly and continuously been dropping the pop accounts. You need to
use the outlook connector to get mail messages into Outlook. Free http accounts are also loosing the ability to be used in Outlook/Outlook Express/ and obviously Windows Mail "shauntj" wrote in message ... Hi All, I have scoured these newsgroups but I have not found a solution to this problem. Prior to installing Vista I've been able to easily synchronize my MSN account, now the process of "Process Marked Headers" is simply taking forever and on rare occassions it may download one message. I had also previously easily configured outlook to use the MSN account as the primary inbox. Now Outlook does not allow this (or I've forgotten how to do it ).Thanks in advance for any help provided, Shaun |

Yes, since Windows Mail/Outlook Express is free, they'd like you to pay some
dollars for Outlook in order to access POP3. But MSN Premium is rather clunky at best anyway...one would do well to use a different provider more along the lines of someone private or even something like CenturyTel or Comcast. Interestingly enough, my Gmail account still works through Windows Mail here in Vista. -- Dick Murchy "Techno-Crat" wrote in message ...
