Default Network & Sharing Center not working

I have a laptop with Vista Home Premium & built in wired and wireless
networking.
The wireless is detected and seems to work fine, but when I go to Control
PanelNetwork & Sharing, the screen opens, but none of the links are ever
clickable. and the screen will not respond to the minimize (-) or close (X)
buttons.
I am logged in to an account with admin rights, and never get a prompt
asking for elevation when the network & sharing screen opens.
Any idea how to restore the functionality?

It could a 3rd party software issue. For troubleshooting it, start the Vista
with clean boot. Or this post may help.

Default Network & Sharing Center not working

That made it work, thank you very much.
It detected the wireless network, but wouldn't let me setup a network
printer or shares properly.
Sometimes the rearranging with Vista really gets to me, much of it doesn't
make sense, but if it confuses hackers it 'must' be good! LOL

Thank you for the update. What do you mean "wouldn't let me setup a network
printer or shares properly". More details please.

Default Network & Sharing Center not working

Before the fix, the network and sharing center wouldn't allow me to do
anything. None of the links on the page worked.
If I tried to turn on network discovery or install a printer, map a network
drive, nothing worked.

This is NOT a "forum" - this is a global Usenet Newsgroup which you are
accessing, for some reason, via a strange Usenet gateway.
You will do FAR better if you ditch whatever website you are using, and
subscribe to these newsgroups directly, using a news reader.

I am trying to set up a networked version of Access 2003 on a network
where the workstations use \vista. \i am told this will only work if the
workstation have Vista Ultimate. Is this true?
