I have a laptop with Vista Home Premium & built in wired and wireless
networking. The wireless is detected and seems to work fine, but when I go to Control PanelNetwork & Sharing, the screen opens, but none of the links are ever clickable. and the screen will not respond to the minimize (-) or close (X) buttons. I am logged in to an account with admin rights, and never get a prompt asking for elevation when the network & sharing screen opens. Any idea how to restore the functionality? -- A Professional Amateur...If anyone knew it all, none of would be here! Change Alpha to Numeric to reply |

That made it work, thank you very much.
It detected the wireless network, but wouldn't let me setup a network printer or shares properly. Sometimes the rearranging with Vista really gets to me, much of it doesn't make sense, but if it confuses hackers it 'must' be good! LOL "Robert L. (MS-MVP)" wrote in message ... This is NOT a "forum" - this is a global Usenet Newsgroup which you are accessing, for some reason, via a strange Usenet gateway. You will do FAR better if you ditch whatever website you are using, and subscribe to these newsgroups directly, using a news reader.
