Sandy
In Windows Mail, select Tools/Accounts. Click the Add Button. Click Email Account/Next button. Click enter your Name/Next button. Enter the Email Address for your ISP account/Next. Click the Incoming email server type menu and select POP3. This where you enter the Incoming Mail and Outgoing e-mail information that your ISP gave you. Click Next to finish the wizard. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Sandy" wrote in message news ![]() I'm just trying to setup to my ISP email server -- iownavw "Techno-Crat" wrote: Your trying got hook up a hotmail account??? I keep getting this:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'MSN', Server: 'pop3.email.msn.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E I've selected "...server requires a secure connection." I can access my newsgroups. Any solutions? -- --piaqt "Ronnie Vernon MVP" wrote: Glad you got the problem sorted. Enjoy. -- Ronnie Vernon Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User "Sandy" wrote in message ...
