Does anyone know how you can stop your folders from becoming
alphabatized as soon as you name a folder? It never used to do that with XP and I wonder if there is a way to stop it. Thanks for any help on this matter. Georgia |

If you're working with a folder in one of the icon modes, right-clicking on
the folder background & selecting 'View' - uncheck "Auto-Arrange" will help. I don't see any way to stop it in list or details mode, though. -- Good Luck, Keith Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] "Georgia W." wrote in message news ![]() Does anyone know how you can stop your folders from becoming alphabatized as soon as you name a folder?
