Default Exporting Local Folders

I've tried to Export Messages with the intent of saving a copy/backup of my
Local Folders. The export files in my targeted folder appeared to be empty
and a second (attempt) folder next to empty. Is this the purpose of this
command. In MS Outlook I downloaded a separate program to do the message
backup.

The Help article seems to lack a little, but this is beta/RC1.

Thanks.

Just copy the directories to backup the messages. They are stored as
individual eml files.
