Im trying to change the notwork location setting of my main pc from public to
private on my home network which uses a workgroup. Windows Help and support Guide says Log on to the network. Click to open Network and Sharing Center. Click Customize, and then click either Public (for "Public place" networks) or Private (for "Home" or "Work" networks). If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Click Next, and then click Close. However there is no "customize" link. Network and sharing center says i am not connetced to a network, but i am because I click the view computers and devices link i can see both my router and my laptop. and access shared folders and the internet. any ideas how to fix this? |

I'm having the same exact problem and it is very frustrating. I notice there
is no response to your question yet. Have you had any luck since you've posted this question.
