Default Mail setup needs a redesign

I think Windows Mail (and Outlook Express) setup need a complete update.
1.When loading or upgrading an operating system it should be possible to
transfer all the old mail contacts, accounts, message rules and settings to
the new version.
2.When creating a new email account, the first question that is asked is
“Display name? but this piece of data is promptly discarded instead of being
saved.
3. The actual account creation process is not done in 1 complete process.
The basic information has to be entered first, then one has to go back and
enter the outgoing mail server authentication details and the connection
details. Then go back and enter the account’s name (which one had already
entered first of all. Even then one is not quite finished – a box must be
unticked if the account is not to seek mail normally.
A complete rethink of the questions’ order is required.
