Default Erraic Speeds when transfering files, Vista 64 - Vista 64

Hi,

I have the following setup:
1. HTPC running Vista 32 Bit
2. Desktop PC (AMD X2 64) running Vista 64
3. Laptop, Asus G2S T7500 intel, running Vista 64
4. Childrens pooter, XP box (sp 2)

I have 1gb NIC's and CAT6 cables. Auto Neg set at 1000/full

Transfering files: (beforce Vista SP1(the open release))

1. From Desktop - HTPC, speed about 45-50mb/sec, good
2. Dekstop, Laptop 10-12mb, bad! Hangs
3. Desktop - XP, 20mb sec...guess its ok for an old box

Installed the open SP1 for Vista on my 64 bit machines:

1. Desktop to Laptop, 14mb/sec
2. Desktop to Laptop, disabled firewall on both sides, 60mb/sec
3. Desktop to Laptop, enabled firewall, 60mb sec
4. Desktop to Laptop, waited 10 mins and tried again, 25mb/sec
5. Desktop to HTPC(vista 32), 15mb/sec
6. Desktop to XP, 25mb sec

Pre vista I have NEVER had problems with my network/speed. I have disabled
auto-tuning on all Vista boxes.

What more should I try?

Best regards,

Lars Siden
