Shared Printer - Vista to ME
Hi, I have a HP940C printer shared on my Windows ME machine. My laptop
crashed, and I bought a new one that has Vista (the old one had XP). Now, I cannot connect to my shared printer even though Vista sees it in the network box. When trying to connect, I simply get an error: WINDOWS CANNOT CONNECT TO THE PRINTER. OPERATION COULD NOT BE COMPLETED (ERROR 0X00000866). Any thoughts would be appreciated.
