when i purchased my laptop a few years back i did not know that i had outlook on my computer - how do i set this account up. i have tried by using the instructions but that's not working for me. would like for outlook to be my default email account.

When I tried to reply to a group a got a message "The message could not be send. No sender was specified. Please check your account information." I configured the account correctly with server setting as pop.gmail.com, smtp.gmail.com and Incoming mail server is POP3. It seems like i entered my POP3 and SMTP correctly but at the time of sending a message it asks me to verify my username and password and when I enter it the same verification boxs pops out again.
