OK, it's late and not getting it. Why can't I follow http links in an email when clicking (or double clicking) on them? I even tried the old Word CTRL+ click trick to activate the link. Did I miss something? BDG

Hi All Running real version of Vista Home Premium (not Beta). I have one message stuck in my Deleted Messages folder that I cannot delete or move and Windows Mail comes up with an Unknown Error whenever I try. The Preview pane also says it can't display message. Have tried the Compact/Repair tool. Have tried the hard fix delete of the WIndows Mail Database.

I have Windows basic and when I open an email attachment that has Wordpad it makes no sense. It looks likean ants nest. Is there a setting I need to adjust? Thanks

Using IMAP4 with Windows Mail on Vista. The checkbox to "check for messages in all folders" doesn't seem to work. I imported my email folders from outlook express (on an XP machine) over to vista's windows mail. I have a lot opf folders and subfolders and i do want them to expand when new mail comes in, But they seem to expand when there is no new email in that folder. I collapse them, shut windows mail down and then open it again. And the folders expand again - well sometimes.

I tried a migration program (intellimover) to transfer my email messages from an XP machine to a new Vista machine. The files transferred but WinMail does not find them. Is it better to migrate them with a USB connection, or better to copy them to a CD-rom or external hard drive and load them from that media?
