Newsgroup's links don't work in Mail by Spirefm
Since installing RC1 from 5536 my newsgroup links have stopped working in Windows Mail. Why? I get a message saying "Click on this link to read the reply" but nothing happens if I click on it although I can see that the link appears perfectly correct. On 5536 the links always worked. Colin

a bug....need help by 2cool
I wrote a plugin which uses the CopyMoveMessages() to move messages from one folder to another. It seems to work correctly at first, but after the message is moved, the source folder has numerous empty *.eml created with size 0 byte. At this point, if you shut down Windows Mail and restart it, "Ghost messages" that have no content appear in the source folder. The number of ghost messages...

Hot Damn! I figured out the Vista Mail / OE6 Import Problem! by jwardl
FINALLY made it work! Here's what you do: As you might expect, copy all your .dbx folders to wherever. Now, open Vista Mail. Go to File - Import - Messages Next, select "Microsoft Outlook Express 6", and NEXT Since "Import mail from an OE6 Identity" will be shadowed out, accept what you see by clicking "OK."

Outlook 2000 & RC1: Startup appears every time and crashes on exit by Grant
Hi, Each time Outlook 2000 (from MSOffice 2000) starts up it goes through the startup Wizard like it was never started: - Pops up the menu initalize - Asks if you want "Corporate/Workgroup" or "Internet Mode" - Then prompts if want to use previous settings (like it recognized a prior installation - itself that is) When running, seems to load in all the previous email as new again.

Can't Import OE 6 messages by Tom Lake
I just finished loading Vista RC1 and am trying to import my old OE6 messages. When I navigate to the store folder, there are no files visible. I can see them all when I use Windows Explorer but the import facility doesn't see them. Is this a known bug? If so, is there a workaround? TIA Tom Lake

Exporting Local Folders by Tony Olson
I've tried to Export Messages with the intent of saving a copy/backup of my Local Folders. The export files in my targeted folder appeared to be empty and a second (attempt) folder next to empty. Is this the purpose of this command. In MS Outlook I downloaded a separate program to do the message backup. The Help article seems to lack a little, but this is beta/RC1. Thanks.
