I think this is a good deal, $259 for Vista Ultimate upgrade, and 60% off on 2 other Vista Home Premium, which totaled about $360. and Of course upgrade and full version are the same. You can always clean install with the upgrade version. So there are reason for me to buy full version in my case.

I see that MS is selling 2 copies of VIsta Home Premium for $49.99 each for purchasers of VIsta Ultimate. Does the version of Ultimate dictate which version of Home you get? i.e. if I buy the Ultimate upgrade, are the Home versions upgradess also? I have a folder entitled WINDOWS.~Q. I cannot delete it or any of its contents. When I try, it says that this item is no longer located on C:\. There are subdirs to DATA, Docs and Settings, all the way to the final entry in the folder called WNML4Z89 and its file ShowFolder. None can be deleted; the error msg is the same that the file no longer exists. --

I need help! So I am trying to uninstall iTunes and re install it and when I try to do it it keeps telling me that it cannot access network location %APPDATA%\. To give you some backgroud we recently had to ininstall and reinstall our anti virus software (that is a whole other story). Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

I have read somewhere that the files in this folder can be deleted once the installation of whatever program has finished. Is this true? I only ask because the files don't appear to be of any use, and are taking up quite a lot of space on my system drive.

Greetings, I have a network share setup b/w a Vista Ultimate x32 and XP machines. Using the XP machine, I open the Vista hosted share but found some files "missing", ie. even though they physically exist in the Vista machine, I simply cannot see them from XP. Turns out that these files are missing the EVERYONE in the File Permissions (right click file, properties, security).

I cannot set some folder's icon to display a specified image (Properties - customize - Choose a File(F)... ) and some unrelated folders' icons have changed. as if the effect of setting the first folder's icon has been transmitted to these unrelated folders.
