Personal settings don't cannot be loaded by

Yesterday it happened to me for the first time that I opened my computer
and instead of seeing the familiar desktop I saw a customized one. A
message appeared saying that the director where my personal settings are
saved could not be found and that instead this temporary desktop can be
used but that no changes in it will be saved. I tried to restart the
computer, but the problem just repeated...

Vista RDP to Windows 2008 Server by

We have just started adding Windows 2008 servers to our DMZ and it seems
Vista can't RDP to them.
RDP is enabled on the servers.
Connecting to the Win 2k8 servers I get a login prompt that lets me know
"something" is comunicating.
It is using the "less secure method" but nothing changes whe changing to
Network level Authentication.
